Between two worlds: In conversation with Nemanja (NemoDinge), our new brand ambassador

Anyone who engages with Serbia, our culture, and our faith on social media will likely come across him: Nemanja, better known as NemoDinge, reaches mainly young Serbs in the diaspora – in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland – with his videos. Since August 2026, he has been an official brand ambassador for Svetazvezda.

Why we collaborate with Nemanja

When we founded Svetazvezda, our goal was never simply to sell products. We wanted to provide the Serbian Orthodox diaspora with access to their faith and traditions – no matter how far away home was. Nemanja embodies exactly that: he shows a young generation that one can grow up in Germany, Austria, or Switzerland and still be firmly connected to Serbia, its faith, and family. He speaks the language of the diaspora because he is part of it himself. This authenticity cannot be faked – and that's why no one suits us better than him. Reason enough to give him a detailed platform: to talk about his mission, his faith, and why Sveti Nikola means so much to him in particular.

Nemanja, please introduce yourself briefly to our readers.

I am Nemanja, better known as NemoDinge on social media. Since early 2026, I have been creating content about Serbia – from culture and history to sports, Orthodox faith, and our traditions.

What is your mission with your channel?

My mission is primarily to introduce young Serbs in the diaspora to our homeland, culture, and identity in a modern and understandable way. I want to show that one can grow up in Germany and still have a strong connection to Serbia, faith, and one's roots.

What does the Orthodox faith personally mean to you?

The Orthodox faith gives me strength, guidance, and a sense of home. I don't want to dictate to anyone how they should live their faith, but rather to openly and honestly show what significance it has for my own life.

Why did you want to collaborate with Svetazvezda?

Svetazvezda combines Orthodox faith and Serbian tradition in a modern yet respectful way. I was convinced that behind the products lies not just a business, but also a genuine appreciation for our faith and culture.

What do you particularly like about our products?

I particularly like the high-quality craftsmanship and attention to detail, because you can tell that each product carries a deeper meaning. My personal favorite product is the icon of Sveti Nikola, as Sveti Nikola is also my family's Slava.

What do you want to convey to your community with this partnership?

I want to show my community that faith is not just for church or specific holidays, but can also have a place in everyday life. The products can be a beautiful reminder of faith, family, and one's roots.

How do you see your role as a brand ambassador?

As a brand ambassador, I want to authentically present Svetazvezda and only recommend products that I truly stand behind myself. I am especially looking forward to creating content together that not only looks good but also means something to people.

Finally: Is there anything personal you would like to share with us?

I grew up as a Serb in Germany and therefore know the feeling of living between two worlds. My Slava is Sveti Nikola, and traditions like these remind me of where I come from and what connects me to my family and our homeland.
