Holy Trinity

The Holy Trinity (Sveta Trojica) is the heart of the Orthodox faith: the one God in three persons – Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Every prayer, every sign of the cross and every divine service begins in the name of the Sveta Trojica.

Trojičindan, the feast of the Holy Trinity, is celebrated on the 50th day after Vaskrs and therefore falls on a different date each year. Many families keep this day as their Slava and pass this tradition down from generation to generation.
