Collection: Saint Stefan of Dečani

Saint Stefan of Dečani (Sveti Stefan Dečanski, Holy King Stefan Uroš III) is one of the holy rulers of the Nemanjić dynasty. Blinded and sent into exile by his own father, he bore his suffering in humility and prayer. As king he founded the Visoki Dečani Monastery in Kosovo, one of the most important works of Serbian church art, where his relics rest to this day.

Mratindan, his feast day on November 24th, is celebrated by many families as their Slava. On this day families honor their patron saint and pass this tradition down from generation to generation.

This collection brings together everything associated with the veneration of Saint Stefan of Dečani – for faith at home, for the Slava, and as a gift for families celebrating Mratindan.
