Daska za meze (Serving Board) in Beech Wood with Serbian Coat of Arms / 43 × 25 cm

Daska za meze (Serving Board) in Beech Wood with Serbian Coat of Arms – 43 × 25 cm

Please note: every board is a natural product with its own grain and colour. The wood grain cannot be selected; each board looks different and may vary from the product photos.

The board is engraved with the Mali grb, the small state coat of arms of Serbia: the double-headed eagle with the cross and the four Ocila (firesteels) on the shield, crowned above. The three long compartments run horizontally like the stripes of the Serbian Trobojka (tricolour), and the coat of arms is shifted to the left, just as on the state flag.

The board is made of beech wood, depending on the piece as glued laminated beech. Natural colour variations such as the darker heartwood of the beech are part of the wood. Three long compartments and one small compartment are milled into the surface.

The Daska za meze is made for serving meze (appetisers): Pršut, Kulen, cheese, Kajmak, olives or vegetables fit into the long compartments, and Ajvar, salt or toothpicks into the small one. Whether at the Slava, at family celebrations or on an evening together, the board brings a piece of Serbia to the table. It is also a beautiful gift for anyone who loves to show their Serbian roots.
