Kandilo with gold-colored stand and red glass 1

This Kandilo (oil lamp) is crafted for the prayer corner in the Serbian Orthodox tradition. The gold-colored stand with ornamental decor and red gemstones holds a red glass in which the oil light burns before the icon, lending a warm, reverent glow to the room.

The Kandilo consists of two parts: a gold-colored metal stand with a finely crafted tendril pattern and a removable red glass insert. The glass can be easily removed for cleaning and refilling. For use, oil and a fitilj (wick) are required, which are sold separately.

With a height of approx. 7 cm and a diameter of approx. 6 cm, the Kandilo fits on any home altar and in any prayer corner. It is suitable for daily prayer as well as for Slava and church holidays.
