LAR Fine Silver Icon Bogorodica Omekšanje Zlih Srca (Softener of Evil Hearts)

The icon Bogorodica Omekšanje Zlih Srca, or "Softening of Evil Hearts" in English, is one of the profound depictions of the Most Holy Mother of God in the Orthodox tradition. The seven swords piercing her heart symbolize the sorrows and trials that the Mother of God endured during her earthly life. At the same time, this icon represents forgiveness, reconciliation, peace, and the softening of hardened hearts.

Orthodox Christians pray before this icon especially for peace and reconciliation, for the overcoming of enmity and conflicts, and for the strength to forgive. The depiction of Presveta Bogorodica serves as a reminder to meet hatred with love, enmity with reconciliation, and strife with humility.

This icon is part of the exclusive LAR Fine Silver Collection and combines traditional Orthodox iconography with high-quality craftsmanship. The artistically designed icon image is adorned with 999° fine silver, applied using modern PVD technology. Fine gold details and red gemstones emphasize the Byzantine-inspired design and give the icon particular depth and expressiveness. A special anti-oxidation treatment permanently protects the silver surface from tarnishing. The solid frame made of dark genuine wood with a wave profile completes the high-quality design.

The icon is available in various sizes and is suitable for a personal prayer corner, as a spiritual center in the home, or as a meaningful gift for baptism, Slava, wedding, or name day.
