The Svetazvezda Brojanica Pletena is hand-knotted by the Maksimović family near the Ravanica Monastery in Ćuprija. With great dedication, patience, and deep respect for the Serbian Orthodox faith, this wonderful family crafts traditional prayer bracelets using traditional methods, preserving an important piece of our tradition.

Each Brojanica consists of 33 hand-knotted knots, commemorating the 33 years of life of our Lord Jesus Christ. The meaning behind each individual knot is particularly valuable. While knotting, each knot is made with a prayer or a good wish for the future wearer. This creates not just a prayer bracelet, but a companion that is connected with good thoughts and prayers from the very beginning.

After knotting, the Brojanica is carefully rolled with a wooden element. This traditional step ensures that the knots become particularly firm, even, and durable. At the same time, the Brojanica remains comfortably elastic and fits both women and men.
