Svetazvezda Icon Saint Mark the Apostle and Evangelist

This icon depicts Saint Mark, Apostle and Evangelist, author of the Gospel of Mark and one of the four Evangelists of the Church. As a faithful disciple of the Apostles and preacher of the Good News, he played a significant role in spreading the Christian faith in the early centuries.

Sveti Marko is revered in the Orthodox tradition as a courageous preacher, teacher, and witness to Christ. His Gospel is characterized by clarity, power, and a vivid portrayal of the work of Jesus Christ. To this day, he is considered an example of faithfulness, devotion, and the proclamation of the Gospel.

This icon is produced in close cooperation with our manufacturer in Čačak according to Svetazvezda's specifications. It stands for the highest quality and craftsmanship that consciously sets itself apart from ordinary mass-produced goods.

The motif is embellished with Zlatotisak, an embossed gold print. This creates a special depth and radiance that captures the light and impressively highlights the dignified representation of Saint Mark. The black-dyed Mediapan board ensures stability and emphasizes the high-quality finish.
