Svetazvezda Icon Umekšanje Zlih Srdaca (Softener of Evil Hearts)

This icon depicts the Presveta Bogorodica as Umekšanje Zlih Srdaca – the Softener of Evil Hearts. The swords piercing her heart symbolize the pain and suffering that the Mother of God endured throughout her life, and particularly during the suffering of her son, Jesus Christ. At the same time, the icon serves as a reminder of the power of love, compassion, and reconciliation.

For centuries, Orthodox Christians have prayed before this icon for peace in the family, the overcoming of disputes, and the healing of hardened hearts. It is considered a special intercessor for reconciliation, understanding, and inner peace.

This icon is crafted in close cooperation with our manufacturer in Čačak, according to Svetazvezda's specifications. It stands for the highest quality and craftsmanship that consciously distinguishes itself from ordinary mass-produced goods.

The motif is refined with Zlatotisak, an embossed gold print. This creates a special depth and radiance that catches the light and impressively highlights the dignified representation of the Mother of God. The black-colored Mediapan board ensures stability and emphasizes the high-quality finish.

Available in sizes 15 x 11.5 cm and 33.5 x 23.5 cm, this icon is suitable for personal prayer, as a spiritual centerpiece in the home, or as a meaningful gift for family and friends.
