Collection: Saint Basil of Ostrog

Sveti Vasilije Ostroški (Saint Basil of Ostrog) is one of the most venerated saints of the Serbian Orthodox Church and its greatest miracle-worker. As a metropolitan, he lived in strict asceticism and founded the Ostrog Monastery high in the rocks of Montenegro, where his incorrupt relics rest to this day. Countless believers bear witness to healings and prayers answered at his tomb – Ostrog is the most important pilgrimage site of the Serbian Orthodox Church.

Vasilijevdan, his feast day on May 12, is celebrated by many families as their Slava and draws thousands of pilgrims to Ostrog every year. Families honor their patron saint on this day and pass this tradition down from generation to generation.

This collection brings together everything associated with the veneration of Sveti Vasilije Ostroški – for faith at home, for the Slava, and as a gift for families who celebrate Vasilijevdan.
