Modlice for slavski kolač – 11-piece set Bogorodica

This modlice set is dedicated to the Presveta Bogorodica, the Most Holy Mother of God, and depicts her in the classic style of Orthodox iconography. As intercessor of the faithful and mother of Christ, the Bogorodica occupies a central place in the Serbian Orthodox faith and accompanies the spiritual life of many families.

The centerpiece of the set is the icon modlica depicting the Bogorodica, presented in the traditional icon style venerated for centuries in the Serbian Orthodox Church. This image expresses protection, comfort, and maternal closeness, lending a deep spiritual meaning to the pastry or festive table setting.

The set includes 11 intricately crafted modlice designed for decorating pastries and dishes for Orthodox holidays. Besides the icon modlice with the Bogorodica, the set contains traditional Christian symbols such as the cross, doves, scroll, grapes, ears of wheat, flower, barrel, and the seal ИС ХС НИ КА.
