Saint Sava is one of the most important figures in Serbian history and the Serbian Orthodox Church. Born Rastko Nemanjić, son of Grand Župan Stefan Nemanja, he chose a spiritual path over the life of a ruler. As a monk, the first archbishop of the independent Serbian Orthodox Church, and a spiritual teacher, he shaped the faith and history of the Serbian people to this day.

The children's and youth book "Свети Сава – од принца до свеца" (Saint Sava – From Prince to Saint) tells young readers the extraordinary life story of Saint Sava. From his childhood as Prince Rastko, through his journey to the monastery, to his work as archbishop and spiritual father of the Serbian people, the most important stages of his life are presented in an understandable and age-appropriate manner.
