Modlice for slavski kolač – 12-piece set Sveti Ignatije

This set of chocolates in honor of Saint Ignatius Bogonosac represents unwavering love for Christ, self-sacrifice, and the courageous profession of faith unto death. As a disciple of the Apostle John and an early Christian martyr, Saint Ignatius bears the epithet Bogonosac – God-bearer – because he not only proclaimed Christ but also carried Him in his heart. His letters are among the earliest testimonies of ecclesiastical order, understanding of the Eucharist, and the unity of the Church. This set was created to decorate the Slavski kolač (Slavic cake) and other festive pastries with symbols of devotion, martyrdom, and apostolic fidelity – as is customary in the celebration of the Feast of Saint Ignatius.

The set includes 12 intricately shaped modlice, including the central motif of Saint Ignatius in a gold-colored frame, accompanied by traditional Christian symbols such as the cross, doves, scroll, grapes, ears of wheat, flower, barrel, and the inscriptions Срећна Слава and ИС ХС НИ КА.
Thanks to the included stand, the icon modlica can also be placed separately on the festive table, thus becoming a visible symbol of sacrifice, church unity, and the Serbian Orthodox faith tradition.

Made from food-grade plastic, the molds are robust, durable, and easy to clean. Each mold leaves clear, precise imprints in the dough, while the integrated dough cutter allows for clean cutting of the designs and supports careful preparation of the slava.
